Immortal Lettermen - Centering Issues

I've notice that for some of these cards, the letter inside is not centered in the window. Is this something you could move over or is the patch cemented in place? I've never owned one so this might sound like a silly question but I'm serious.

Here is one where they cut the patch short and tried to center it. The patches are glued on and can not be moved with out damaging.
