New way to sell PSA rejects

Haven't seen cards sold this way on eBay before.
Seller claims it's perfectly centered. PSA ruled otherwise.

Hey, at least the sellers listings provide some hilariously good reading material.

It also has 4 sharp corners. Pay no attention to the fact that the black is visibly chipped off each of them. That is not the defect you are looking for.

I see people selling cards like this frequently. They do not, however, usually have this laundry list of BS attached.

Seller writes: "AS GOOD A GRADING AS THIS IS, IT LOOKS BETTER - PERFECTLY CENTERED, SHARP CORNERS, GREAT PICTURE"

I suppose that it is perfectly centered if you're blind in one eye and can't see out of the other...

He's also selling a 65 Ed Mathews that was rejected as miscut. Description says 'sharp corners' but all 4 are terrible.

I felt inclined to message the guy, here is the reply:

    YOU:
I felt I had to comment on the fact that you have this card listed as perfectly centered. By eyeballing the card, it is off center in both directions. Being the most off center left to right, without measuring I believe it to be about 20/80. Additionally, you say the card has four sharp corners, yet in the photo the corners have visible wear where the black has been rubbed off. It's your choice, but I'd recommend updating your description to remove these if you'd like people to perceive you as honest seller.

Nice card - PSA grading properly presents the card - The potential buyer is the ultimate judge of opinion of condition

I've got to say, he was honest about that one part. PSA grading does represent the card well. MISCUT.

  • He is actually selling several 65 Eddie Matthews.. It seems like his specialty is psa rejects and 1965 Topps Eddie Matthews & Yogi Berras.

Since he submitted it to PSA for grading.
    Wonder what grade he expected?

He has a PSA 4 graded 1970 mets team card that is described as better than MINT
Probably his thoughts on all his cards he gets graded

I'd have to agree with Shane~I'd say that is also why he included the card saver with the Miscut sticker on it.
