Your collection value...

joeykoinsjoeykoins Posts: 18,938 ✭✭✭✭✭
Hi guys! What is your collection value worth? Would it be #1. $100 range #2. $500 range #3. $1000 range #4. $3000 range #5. $5000 range #6. $10,000 range #7. $50,000 # #8. $100,000 range or finally #9. near $1,000,000 or more range? Since I sold most of my collection and had currently stopped buying, my range would be #4. about $3,000. How 'bout you guys? Thanks.image

You need several more ranges between $100,000 and $1 million.
    When in doubt, don't.

Yes, I understand It can be personal, so one who feels not to reply doesn't need to, right? Just curious how this forum ranges? Yeah, your right, should have taken a poll.image

Here, I'll get more personal. Before I sold majority of my collection, I would be in the $10,000 range! At the time I was out of a job and needed the $$$. Sure I regret what I lost but that's life in the big city. I'm content at the present time with my small collection. We should all be happy what we have and not what we DON'T have.image

You know, that's a good point! When you look at it that way, nobody really knows what value they have in their collection.

Good example would be if someone would go to a pawn shop and try to sell their goods. You would go there thinking you would get such and such but you end up getting far less!

If you are really interested in the information, you may want to create a poll where people can respond anonymously and not have a dollar value attached with their screen name.

You know it's kind of funny that you ask this in a post today. I was just out on the porch enjoying a cigar and some beer I was just thinking the value of my collection was too much.

Most people are not going to respond, but I would suspect that this forum has collection values that range from a few bucks to 25 million +

This thread reminds me of the Allstate Mayhem commercials titled "Oversharing Doesn't Pay". They were shown during the Sugar Bowl and where hilarious!!! YouTube them.

Should I include my checking acct #, password and account balance too?

Perhaps a poll would give you the information you're looking for.

As you have learned dear OP that's not the question we here like to answer. If you're that interested add up the "value" of what we post....form your opinions that way.

So is the OP now in the spotlight for trying to case forum members? image I for one would never answer that even though I am a lowly value wise collector compared to some here!
