Best way to remove stickers and glue from Slabs?

What is the Best way to remove Stickers and glue from pcgs slabs without harming the coin, or slab?

    I use both scotch tape to lift off the easy stuff and peanut butter for the old crusty stuff. The oil in peanut butter is a great but somewhat slow softer for just about any adhesive.

    I use PlastX to polish the slabs prior to getting them imaged.

    I usually use strong tape to remove as much of the old glue as possible, then plastic polish on a soft cloth to remove the rest.

    I have used auto polish with very good results also.

    I tackled this issue this past weekend when I received 4 PCGS boxes from an Ebay sale that were described as lightly used, yet they were covered in stickers and tape.

    Olive oil did NOT work for me and did nothing to help.



    Rubbing alcohol and a paper towel worked great.

    I love the 3 P's: PB&J, PBR and PCGS.
