What's up with TTM cards and stains on the back?

Is it bad luck or do TTM'rs (perhaps the ones with the intent to resell) use cards with wax or gum stains?
I wouldn't send a card off with stains, but lately it seems that most of the ones I'm buying have 'em.
I have a box full of thousands of stained cards and my son loves to play with them. If it weren't for him I'd throw them out or give them away.

<< <i>A lot of people use cards with nice fronts but issues that would mean that they'd grade low for autographs. >>
I agree with this. I always send my best examples. Of course if I were to send a high dollar rc, as Casey said, I would use a card with eye appeal on the front and perhaps an issue or two on the back. The card is not the star. The auto is.
