I recently picked up this 1979 Chicago Cubs Autographed Team Baseball. It appears to have 26 Signatures on it. No Bruce Sutter, Rick Reuschel or Ivan Dejesus. Not that I can make out that is. I listed the signatures that I can make out below...
Tim Blackwell
Bill Buckner
Bill Caudill
Gene Clines
Steve Davis
Steve Dillard
Miguel Dilone
Barry Foote
Herman Franks
Tony Garafolo - Trainer
Ken Holtzman
Mick Kelleher
Bob Kennedy - GM
Dave Kingman
Dennis Lamp
Steve Macko (Rare signature from what I've read. Only played 25 games and died of cancer in 1981)
Jerry Martin
Steve Ontiveros
Karl Pagel
Mike Roarke - Coach
Cookie Rojas
Kurt Seibert
Scot Thompson
If you can make out anyone that I don't have listed or notice that I have one listed wrong, please let me know! Now back to my original question. For resale purposes, is a ball like this worth sending into PSA/DNA? It looks like the fee will be $150.00. Then you have shipping both ways as well. I appreciate all insight and opinions.
Thanks
Craig

The value of the ball itself is only in the neighborhood of $75 -$100, so spending $150 on getting it authenicated would not be a wise investment.

<< <i>Too bad it doesn't have Bobby Murcer and Donnie Moore. >>
