A Christmas miracle...(and a bit of a conversion)

First the miracle part;
I've collected U.S for years and she has had a 'courtesy interest' in what I buy, but nothing else really.
My wife said to me about a month ago that she actually has an interest in ancient coins, specifically Roman. I had her look at some images online to get an idea of what she liked. It's more the age and overall look of the object that I think she's attracted to, not so much the history, but hey, I'll take it! (at one point she said too much of a detailed history is a detriment!)
The conversion part;
I'm pretty excited because it's a new area in which to apply the typical lessons learned in this hobby, a chance to do it 'right' from the start. I've always been curious about ancients & world coins and now I'm starting to get the itch. First thing, I came to these forums, did some research, and I asked her for the Aorta Book for Christmas. I meet with an ancient coin dealer that I know and get his advice/take on collecting ancients. Ended up buying her the coin pictured below for Christmas.
God Bless us everyone....

No, no, nothing to see here, totally for her....... (Zohar don't goof this up for me!)
Seriously, I do need to concentrate on the look SHE likes. Sure I'll do some research and make sure we're buying right, but I do have to keep in mind what she likes.
Remember you dont have to stick with slabbed ancients, they really are more fun raw & hell of alot cheaper!
