Nice Yount! That makes up for some of the rest of the pack. I never ripped a 76 pack and I was thinking to myself half way through that was a lot of traded cards.

this is the 3rd 76 wax pack ive ever ripped...there were quite a few traded cards! its interesting to me that these are "in a 74 wrapper" but the product code ends in 6 and the pennant offer expires 12/31/76

The "All 660 Cards in One Series" wrappers used in '74 bear an expiration date of 10/31/74.

The "All 660 Cards in One Series" wrappers used in '76 bear an expiration date of 10/31/76.

The '74 wrappers also have different verbiage on the back of the wrapper itself.

Yes, there are typically 3-4 wrapper promo variations per year. The only year I can think of offhand from 1970s through 1980 where all wrappers are same is 1980 "Hit to Win" wrapper variation, which was used in late 1980 and carried over to 1981, where color was changed from blue to green.

I would assume that your 76 pack bears an expiration date of 12/31/76 due to it including traded cards which were released later in season.

all in all i was satisfied with the 76 pack due to the yount....no matter what the result its always a rush for me to open these old packs! now on to the 78 opc pack!
