Good job, U.S. Postal Service!

Shipped a coin on Thursday from Arizona to New Jersey by Priority mail.
It arrived Saturday morning. 2 day cross county service a week before Christmas is remarkable.
Postal service gets many knocks here and often deservedly so, but mostly they do an exemplary job.

Best part is the tracking information on 12/17 showed it was scheduled for delivery on 12/18 but still showed guaranteed for 12/16 delivery.
<< <i>They're kicking butt. I sent a coin first class and they delivered it yesterday (Sunday). >>
Not here either. I'm in NJ and a few coins shipped to me first class from the midwest and CA finally made it here in 7 to 8 days. Priority is good but first class you can forget. Usually
from CA it's a 3 day trip, 4 at the most with first class. I guess during the holiday it becomes second class. My postman told me there's a huge push for them to deliver Amazon packages everywhere as fast as possible. Apparently USPS is counting on Amazon as their bread & butter and want to keep a good relationship with them. Maybe save old Amazon boxes and ship coins in them?
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
While I knocked the usps in that thread, for that package specifically, overall they do a great job. Even as I was complaining, the people hearing my complaints were very understand and pleasant to deal with.

I received a priority sig confirm package @ 430p yesterday on Sunday. Was surprised.
Even better, last Thurs., the USPS corrected my zip code mistake on a package I sent to a buyer. Instead of "4" for the last digit I put a "1", package was undeliverable as addressed according to tracking, overnight I watched the package move across town from post office to post office and was delivered to the buyer the next day.
So,
<< <i>I read an article this morning that the USPS will process and deliver over 15 billion letters and packages during the holiday season. I think we can cut them some slack if packages take an extra day or two to arrive.

+1, don't forget to tip your regular carrier, they are stressed out lately and deserve a thank you.
But for some reason the dealers that owe money say the check is in the mail and the mail is slow…….
