Does PSA Grade Taped-Together Cards?

I have a 1914 Cracker Jack Nap Lajoie that was ripped in half at some point. Both halves are now taped together with a piece of clear Scotch tape. Will PSA grade this as Authentic or send it back to me as ungradable?

I would think authentic. Your best bet is to give them a call tomorrow and hear it from them.

Probably not, but it seems like they should. I have this one with a corner ripped off, and I didn't send it to SGC. I wish I could tape it and they would slab it, so I wouldn't have to worry about losing the corner.

Thanks for the responses so far. In the case that PSA doesn't grade it, do you think that BGS or SGC would grade it?

Possibly on an uncommon card, best bet is to contact and ask. I have never tried to submit one like this, but don't see why it wouldn't be "Authentic-Altered".
