What are the fees/costs for PCGS 'restoration services'??

Does someone know what these PCGS fees are??

Is there a fee schedule someplace??

    I think it's 4% of the PCGS price guide value +$10.

    My $3,000 proof Morgan was like $150 with shipping both ways.

  • Pricing & Policies
    Coins evaluated but rejected for restoration are charged a $10 fee per coin.
    Restored coins are charged 4% of the value of the coin in its final grade (or a minimum fee of $25).
    Restored coins are graded and charged the appropriate grading fee.
    Final cost of the submission cannot be determined until coins have completed the restoration and grading process; consequently, the submission form costs will be estimated using the declared value for each coin.
    Only credit cards or established lines of credit will be acceptable forms of payment.
    Shipping Fees are based upon the number of coins and the declared value. See reverse of submission form for shipping rates.

    4%? I thought it was 1%, or at least that's what I remember hearing when the first offered the surface.

    Well guess that's almost cheaper than a Doctors visit, you never know up front there either?
