Interesting fact about Ruth, Mays and Aaron

I remember it from a Married With Children episode. All 3 players started and finished their careers in the same city but for different teams.
Ruth start- Boston Red Sox
end- Boston Braves
Mays start- New York Giants
end- New York Mets
Aaron start- Milwaukee Braves
end- Milwaukee Brewers

Curious how many of you knew this. I'm sure many don't care, but I think its neat that these 3 are linked this way.

It's not really a coincidence, since at least in the case of Mays and Aaron, they were intentionally brought back to those cities to end their careers.

Interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing. I knew Ruth started and ended in Boston. And that Mays started with and ended with NY. Aaron I didn't know about that part. Ruth wanted to manage the Braves.
