Question about 1985 Star Schick Pete Maravich

This 1985 Star Schick Pete Maravich card was in a collection that I bought some time back. I know that some Star basketball cards were reprinted. Is this likely to be a reprint? Any thoughts?

Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.

    It's unclear to me from these 2 BGS graded examples:

    This one looks just like your card: Marivich 1

    However, this one shows Maravich at a slightly smaller scale, with his head noticeably lower from the top border: Marivich 2

    Does anyone else have thoughts?

    Working off 20-25 year old recollections, I believe that many of the small sponsored Star basketball sets were among the reprinted cards.

    Many of these different small sets were printed on the same sheets/

    I think this was all spelled out in the Sportscard Counterfeit Detector book, probably in the third edition.
