5x Ebay Bucks today and tomorrow

Just got an email from Ebay offering 5x Ebay Bucks for "VIP" members. No minimum purchase, the usual maximum of $100 per transaction. Now I need to find to find some BINs!

    I enrolled for the offers over a year ago; I've yet to receive any offers from eBay. I usually rack up about $200/ quarter in eBay Bucks from purchases. I still haven't figured out why I NEVER get offers. Do I bid too much? Buy too much? Too little?

    From what I can see they don't seem to treat all as equals.image

    image Your wish is my command! Done after struggling through EBay's many Glitches during their overwhelming Holiday rush. I tried to run a sale during Black Friday and couldn't get it to go through....and then on Cyber Monday...even with a guru from ebay on the phone with me we couldn't get it to go through. Same tonight with a phone Guru but it finally went through! image

    Took some work but I found a nicely toned 1894 dollar in AU.

    10x 1878-S BU Morgans; $250
    1941-1947 Walker album, all 20 coins, AU/BU - $200
    Full set of Buff nicks not including the '13-S T2 and the '18/17-D, but including the 3 legger - $630.

    Total cost = $1070.
    Ebay bucks at 10% = $107.
    Actual cost = $963

    I bet I can get $40 ea for the '78-S's, maybe a touch less = $400
    And $20ish ea avg for the Walkers = $400
    And around $1,000 for the buffalo set.

    $1800 - 12% fees and shipping, - $963 cost = $621.

    Not bad for a days browsing. I love the holidays. >>

    I used it to buy some old stuff I normally wouldn't. I buy old graded Comics and put them in deep frames and cover the plastic with matting, I then hang then in Children's rooms and play rooms as pop art/Americana.

    I bought this group for a new video game/ play room. I consider it relic art and people love it, I get a dozen times more comments then I do for the real stuff. I don't even mind lower grade stuff as I like the relic effect.
