First-time poppage

Here is my first-time poppage. As explained in my other thread, with the exception of the Walter Payton sticker, all are cards I've had since I was a kid. Slabbing them was mainly done for preservation purposes, as I intend to keep them until my kids get them someday. Results were a bit ugly image.

Congratulations on your very first submission. I also submitted some of the cards from my early childhood, mainly 73-75.

Congrats on your first pop! I have at least one that I want to slab (my first auto) at some point, I'm certain it's not going to be a pretty result either as I knew nothing of centering at the time.

That's a nice sentimental sub Phil.

Congrats on the Payton sticker! It will fit nicely into your set.

Wow you posted on the PSA message boards 4800 times since 2001 and have never sent in a submission, I find that to be incredible.
Work hard and you will succeed!!

I don't at all. Many don't believe in grading but love to talk about their hobby. I have done a handful of submissions but will send one offs with the group subs. That is it for me.

I also collect coins and spent much of my 13 years on that side. I also do metal detecting and you'll find my posts over there, too.

    Hope you enjoyed the scans.

    Never submitted either.
  • Nice job Phil! Hey, that 83' sticker looks awfully familiar to me....that is one of the ones I sold you on here correct? Well done!

If memory serves me correct I think that was one of the ones that I pulled from a group rip....definitely one of the better ones.
I'm a big Nolan Ryan fan OK???!!!
