1980 Multi Sport Wax Trays

A couple days ago I was looking at a seller's completed auctions and saw a 1980 Topps tray with 5 basketball, 5 hockey and 5 football wax packs. Is this something that Topps put out? It looks to be a factory product. How common are these? Were there any similar to this in other years or any that included baseball packs in the place of one of the other sports?

    Homemade, never issued by Topps. You can even see tape on back where they sealed it back up.

    ETA: Not to mention, Topps never produced 15-pack trays. Even in 5c era, trays were six packs.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I agree on both counts tim. This creation is about as legit as a holiday rack.
