Psa's stance on cards with "waves"?

I just received a card that looks very nice, probably in 6-7 range, except for the fact that it has some waves. The waves are only noticeable if you turn the card flat while looking at the edge. Again, overall the card presents VERY NICE in nrmt range. What are psa's standards for wavy cards?

Wave cards are usually a surface defect. Usually that will knock it down to a 5 or 6 right away.
Thanks for response oaksey.
The card in question is a 1954 Topps Hank Aaron. I recently posted a thread about it a few days ago asking if $300 was a fair price considering the condition.
Now that I have it in hand, I notice that the card is huge both in length and width. This is the first 54 topps I've owned or dealt with so my experience is zero. I held the card up to two different cards; an 89-90 hoops card and a 2012-13 Panini basketball card (both the same size and happen to just be here at my computer) and the Hank Aaron towers over them. I took a rough estimate of the dimensions and they're Length - over 3 1/2 Width - around 2 1/2 maybe slightly larger.
The 54 topps set must be a larger set than usual.
I tried to link the article but had no luck.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I think I'm safe, plus the guy who sold it is trustworthy. I was just trying to find some details on the 54 sports illustrated cards that were issued but can't seem to find much on those. The one thing I read was that the sports illustrated version was printed on actual paper, not cardboard stock, and my card seems to be on thick stock.
Thanks!
<< <i>What exactly is meant when you mention it being wavy? I'm not sure understand what you guys are talking about and would like to learn. Do you mean when looking at it from the side that it's sort of S shaped (except to a lot lesser degree)?
Thanks! >>
That's exactly right!
