Is anyone a member of any facebook sports cards buying and selling? Just want to know which ones have the highest traffic/most members. I just tried a couple that I'm waiting for to be added. And wondering if anyone has any experience with them

I'm a new member to this facebook group and it's been a lot of fun so far. No buying/selling allowed there, which I understand because then it'd become a newsfeed of ads. Anyways, glad I joined!

I know the one facebook group with "Keep It Real" in its title is THE WORST one to join. Hard for me to explain here. Just google CHUCK SITERO and read all about it!

Sports Collectors Daily is a good non buy/sell group to join that I enjoy updates in my newsfeed.

This is the only one I currently belong to on Facebook. Richard Klein IMO does a great job and I get various updates on my feed throughout the day pertaining to all aspects of the hobby.
As Bobbyw stated, the "Keep it real" group is a mess. I belonged to it for a very short time and dumped them after just a few weeks. Lots of unnecessary drama and b.s.

    Pete,

"$50 and Up Only BV Baseball Vintage Sports Card Auctions 1970's or Earlier" is a good FB group. Must of the cards are sold in lots and average VG to EX+. Occasionally higher condition cards show up. It seems to be a good group for building raw sets. The PSA site mentioned is good, but no buying/selling allowed. I am a member of the "Keep It Real" group. It has it's drama, but when a card comes up that I am interested in, I just PM the seller and deal with them directly.

I've subscribed to that group for about six months, and have done about 20 trade/sales. It's a high-volume group so you have to take some of the behavior of some of the members and mods with a grain of salt and be cautious. But nothing tragic has befallen me yet. Definitely lots of n00bs, but there are some good guys in the group too.

  • Cool thanks I'll check a few recommended out. I joined some auction one and threw in a few bids for a 1911 t206 common. I've never owned one.
