Is $300 fair for 54 topps Aaron with some surface/water damage?

I know this is an odd question but I had the opportunity to buy a raw 54 topps hank Aaron that otherwise looks like a 6-7
I bought it from a reputable dealer that I have history with who says it has some surface wrinkles/slight water damage but says it appears to be nrmt and is "very nice".

This was one of those buy it now or lose it as his cards sell super fast.

Any opinions would be appreciated!

Tough to say for sure without seeing it, but considering VCP avg for Auth - 1 is about 300, I'd probably pull the trigger. Especially if I thought I could get a number grade with or without qualifier if it's stained at all. Or if I needed for a raw set, that sounds like a great card to add.

    Congrats.

  • If it just has a water stain then it's probably fine.

If the card has mold growing on it then return it ASAP.

    Thanks for the opinions guys!
Lol no mention of mold. But the guy said I could return it if unhappy, he's a solid guy. I've bought a lot of cards from him in the past and never let down.
