Came home today to find these great additions to my Cowboys set sitting in my mailbox. Dan actually took the time to go through my set and pick out some nice cards that I needed. Such a incredible act of kindness!
Thank you yet again my friend!! I have already added them to my set

I do think it is ironic that in 1983 the Cowboys were supporting their local police, but by 1993 the local police probably had more photos of the Cowboys than Topps did.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>Great gesture Dan ... although you could have picked a nicer guy to send the cards to .... HAHAHAHAHA >>

Someone from Tennessee might disagree, remember I got upgraded yesterday I'll have to add scans of my package from Mr Bessette yesterday.
83 Donruss Rose
83 Fleer Bench
88 Topps Larkin
A few Brees/Manning cards and the Larkin 2000 SLU rounded it out. A great mailday when I wasn't expecting anything.

I agree Troy. If you squint your eyes just right, you can see Dan giving him a shoulder massage.

Who doesn't love some prime ripping material? I told him I'll save it for a day when I need a pick-me-up - but that probably means it won't survive the weekend if I know my tendencies.
Thanks, Dan!
<< <i>Hi Casey, I hope you enjoy it. I know it's not much but hopefully you have some fun ripping it. Obviously you'll be happy to pull any Yzermans, and Gretzky and Lemieux are always good, but what else is in that set? I know other 1990-91 sets had rookie cards of Federov, brodeur, jagr, modano and roenick, but are any of them in the UD set? >>
Brodeur didn't get his first UD card until the 1992 set, even though there are earlier cards of him in 1990 Score as well as 7th Inning Sketch QMJHL. Fedorov is in the hi series and that is a low series box. There are a lot of hi series RC's including Fedorov, Bure, F.Potvin, S.Niedermeyer, Draper, Bondra, Lindros (Canada's Captains) that are not in that box; however, the low series box does include a lot of great RC's, a good amount of them being HOF or will be soon, such as Sundin, Jagr, Roenick, Recchi, Mogilny, Blake, Modano, Richter, Joseph, Belfour, Brind'Amour, and even more that were good pulls before even if they don't have as quite as much excitement as before, such as Nolan, Primeau, Ricci, K.Stevens, Turcotte, the list goes on. 1990 Hockey is truly an unparalleled year compared to any year of any sport as far as quantity of HOF RC potential. Too bad it was so over-produced, as the values of the cards will never reflect the quality of the players. That does mean that you should be able to rip any of the 1990 hockey boxes for fun pulls without ever having to invest much cost at all into the activity.
