It won't last long, and it helps if you're the person who requested the set, since PSA notifies you...but for a short period of time today I will be #1 on the Mays Topps Basic Registry. WooHoo. Get this guy a sandwich.
I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts. I made sure to take a screen shot for posterity, as that 5.5 avg. won't hold up for long.
If anyone else collects Mays, the Topps Basic is finally available. As an FYI, it took about 11 weeks from request to completion if you're wondering about any requests you've submitted.

The Yaz Basic Topps is fairly new to the registry too and most of the heavy hitters, like our Manny, haven't registered for it, which is a shame. But like you, I'm looking forward to getting 100%, regardless of GPA.

LOL. I know. But I grew up in the Bay Area and in a house where Mays was "the man"... I also couldn't decide which Dodger I wanted to chase between Duke, Jackie, Campy, Sandy and Don. I'm now starting to go after Bowman Duke's, and considering a Koufax set at some point, but am dragging my feet on that until I complete a couple other registries (J. Brown, Staubach, and Kareem...and PW HOF 1st Ballot (3-shy))
