It's hard to believe that, not too long ago, 10 bucks got you a ticket to an NFL game.

Thanks Guys. I just missed out on my second Jim Brown Debut Ticket today, as it went for about $50 more than my bid.

What amazes me is the condition of some of these full tickets. Some of these are over 60 years old and look like they could be used to get in a game today. I just have to wonder how many unused/full tickets in this type of condition are out there ?

It's because in most cases they were leftover, unsold tickets that entered the hobby straight from the box office.

True, but I have also seen some full tickets that were punched at the gate that are in extraordinary condition for their age.

Sweet tickets, I feel tickets are so undervalued, especially the games that had records broken in them. I love the first or last games of players & venues.

Here is a ticket that was apparently punched at the gate, still in great shape for a 66 year old ticket.

Great stuff... It would be really nice if the NFL recognized and celebrated their history as much as the other sports. It seems like if it didn't happen after color TV, it didn't happen in the NFL.
