I've got a few cards to get rid of that have modest value, and would prefer not to bother with EBay about them- so I thought I'd have some fun and auction them off here. If you would like to bid on a lot, post your bid publicly as a reply to this thread. The minimum bid for each lot is $15. Bidding in $1 increments only, please.
High bid for each lot as of 9:00 PM (Central) on Sunday, December 14 wins, assuming the minimum bid is met. No charge for shipping. Thanks for looking!
LOT #1 (4 cards): RAW VINTAGE
1. 1953 Bowman Color #15 Jim Busby, VG/EX-EX
2. 1953 Bowman Color #87 Harry Perkowski, VG/EX
3. 1956 Topps Larry Jackson #119 grey back, EX
4. 1956 Topps Bob Porterfield #248, EX
No creases or stains on any card, and all have clean backs. the Larry Jackson has some shallow surface scratches on the front that are only noticeable on close inspection, and I have factored that into the grade.
LOT #2 (6 cards): JOE MAUER AUTO/PATCH CARD + '85 DONRUSS STAR LOT
1. This is a 2007 Upper Deck SP Authentic Joe Mauer "By the Letter Signatures" card, numbered 3/25. I don't collect thick patch cards so it is tough for me to put a grade on it- but if I had to I would say NM-MT to MINT. The card has no glaring flaws that I can see.
I don't know what it's worth. The closest comparisons to this card I can find for sale on EBay right now are a BIN for $85, and an auction with a minimum bid of $60 and no one has bid on it yet. (Full disclosure: Those two cards are numbered to 15. This one is numbered to 25.)
You also get five '85 Donruss star cards (not pictured but all have at least decent centering):
2. #57 Reggie Jackson NM-MT
3. #169 Cal Ripken NM-MT
4. #176 Rickey Henderson MINT (very nice example)
5. #190 Dwight Gooden NM/MT+
6. #208 Carlton Fisk NM/MT+
LOT #3 (4 cards): 1970 TOPPS
1. 1970 Topps #106 Darold Knowles, EX-MT (not pictured). Grade knocked down b/c of l/r centering, would be NM-MT if it were centered well.
2. 1970 Topps #282 Steve Huntz, EX-MT (not pictured). Same deal as the Knowles card.
3. 1970 Topps #458 Pete Rose AS, EX. (This card was in a PSA 8 holder when I purchased it. The case was cracked when I took it out of the bubble mailer. I thought I could remove the card without damaging it. I thought wrong. The top right corner is damaged. In all other ways it is an absolute blazer.)
4. 1970 Topps Willie Horton #520, PSA 7. Presents extremely well for the grade.

'Sir, I realize it's been difficult for you to sleep at night without your EX/MT 1977 Topps Tom Seaver, but I swear to you that you'll get it safe and sound.'

I'm a little sick after reading this.

It still makes me sick when I think about it. It was my own damn fault though.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Do these end on Sunday the 14th, or Monday the 15th
Edited to add: Nevermind, just saw it in the thread title.
