Dave and Adam's Card World Rant

I have been in their retail stores many times and been treated very well every time. The staff make you feel welcome and are very helpful. However, whenever I try to deal with them over the internet they come across as very rude. Is it just me or are they usually like this? The latest time I emailed them on special pricing on a couple of cases of (junk) wax. On their website they tell you to email them for special pricing on 2 or more cases. Well 4 emails later, I still don't have a price.....I tried to arrange to possibly pick it up or have it shipped and they are not at all helpful. I did not make a lowball offer or any offer, I just asked how much it is. I usually spend quite a bit of money with them each year so maybe I will stick to eBay... Not sure if they are interested in selling online or not....

  • It's not just you. I also have bought from them in person with with a very positive outcome but when dealing with them online it's been the opposite. I haven't dealt with them since.

BTW, I did not try to lowball them on an offer or anything like that either.

I put in two orders on their website for wax boxes during their most recent blowout sale for my nephews to rip at Christmas. Nothing expensive. Each order was about $100.00. Paid and received each shipment within 3-4 days. All items were there. No problems at all.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
