Why do you think Ming won't be good ?

He's taller then Shaq, and he can shoot from even beyond the 3-point line. Did you see the personal work out he got on SportCenter? He was school those two kids. He is unbelivible.

    he might be taller than Shaq, but he's also goofier than Shaq... and besides, is he as strong as Shaq?... Ming could be a good player, but i think he will another bust... ya never really know til they step on the court and play with the big doggs...

    u also gotta realize that basketball in China is not basketball in the NBA...

    and BTW, i got an Amos Zereoue '02 Topps Debut card if u are interested... LMK

    i agree with thito, you wont know what he is like till you get him on the court. He will either be another shaq or just another shawn bradley or george merrausain (not sure on spelling lol)

    wow, shawn bradley is taller than shaq. so is sabonis and wang zhi zhi.
    you need to have muscle to play post in the NBA.. Ming doesnt' have that. period

    sure he can shoot, but put someone like KG on him, and that's it. he might have a longer reach than KG, but garnett can jump. he would bother him like hell

    he wont be a bust i think. probalby a steady 15 and 7 through out career.

    Well in my opinon it comes down to three things. Can he speak english, does he have good footwork, and is he strong enough. In my opinion he lacks all there from what I seen. He is a center not a point guard so who cares about him taking 3 pointers. IF he takes 3's then who si getting the rebounds. So if he goes on a team he will need rebounding if he wants to take threes.

    guy is an absolute toothpick at 230 pounds being 7 ft 5, He better get to the weight room or plan on getting manhandled night in or night out. You'll find him in your common bins in 2-3 years. Player comparison-Manute Bol, He'll get some shot blocks but gonna struggle for rebounds & definitely for points. Rockets should look right by him.
