Thanks... I picked it up for almost nothing on a large trade. I'd be happy with a 5. Bottom right showed more wear and could keep it in the 4 to 4.5 range. Otherwise a clean card.

Congrats, very nice card of a HOFer! Get any other good vintage hockey?
You can usually count on the card getting 0.5 to 1 grade higher when it is 1955 & earlier vs. 1956 & later. I still wouldn't be surprised to see it in a 4, but 4.5 to 5 was the hopeful increase due to vintage grading leniency.
Hard to tell from the scan, but is there any way PSA would say that there is "paper loss" on the bottom right corner? I hope not. Best of luck with your grade.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I know you can't compare this way since the grader will be different, but IMO if this one gets a 5, then yours should as well. Finding more 5's that are like this does not keep yours from a 4 label, just proves that it is possible to get higher than a 4 on the right day.
Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.
PSA is all over the place on 51s, but my guess is this card is a 3.5-4. Wouldn't be surprised with a 3. I doubt they dock for paper loss, they seem to view those corners as just worn on these cards.
and the OP's card has some issues going on with the bottom two corners. I now predict 2-3. I suggest sending it in by itself (meaning the only 1951 Parkie) with other cards. Maybe if the graded had nothing to compare it to :-p

<< <i>I think PSA has a soft spot of vintage parkhurst. 4, maybe a 5. >>
Not true at all. I recently had a bunch of vintage Parkhurst graded, and consigned with PWCC. I am guessing PSA 2.5 or 3.
