Uncut 59 Fleer Ted Williams sheet

I went to my LDCS yesterday (long distance). Bought some supplies, a little junk wax, and was ready to leave when I saw this gem. I had to take a photo. It's my favorite set (if you couldn't tell from my avatar). Now I've only been collecting it for about a year, so maybe an uncut sheet isn't as rare as I thought it is. Anyway, I thought it was really cool.

Pretty cool ... but pretty expensive as well!

These two sheets - both the same - (one signed and one unsigned) - sold in April ina Mile High Auction for $385.00.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Yeah, their stuff is overpriced. It's the same guy who wanted $110 for a box of 91 Bowman. I wasn't buying either way, so I was just excited to see the sheet.

Dan, I remember many years ago (pre-Internet) seeing one of those sheets, with the #68 card as well, and thinking it had to be a cool one-of-a-kind item. The person wanted $2K for it back in the mid 90s. Thankfully I didn't have that sort of money at the time, since you can find those sheets (even with the 68 card) in the $400 and under range. They do pop up in auctions a few times a year, so keep your eyes peeled if you're ever thinking about one!

And if you wanted something in a lower price range, there are usually uncut panels of 2-6 cards you can find on eBay for much cheaper (< $100).
