Card Savers II - Do they have a purpose?

Wasn't thinking straight and bought a 200-ct box of Card Saver IIs at the White Plains show. The box says they fit all standard cards but they are way too smail and it is very difficult to even put the card into the holder.

What do they even make these things for?? Are they for tobacco cards?

They're great for minis and tobacco cards, but I never feel comfortable storing standard sized cards in them.

I used to store all my cards in CSIIs as they were easier to fit in standard size card shop boxes and were cheaper than the CSIs. It wasn't until I started submitting to PSA that I converted to CSIs. In fact, my first subs were done using CSIIs and I never had a problem with dinged corners. You get used to using them fairly quickly. Having said all this, CSIs are certainly easier to use and give more tolerance for error when inserting cards.

    Work great with stickers too.
  • I use them for all my standard cards. I just don't push the cards down to the bottom. They take up less space than CSI's and work great.

Technically, I use the "Ultra Pro" version of CSII's- but same size.
