ebay item not received refund policy?

I bought a card off Ebay last month which still hasn't arrived. It was probably stolen or lost somewhere and I'll probably end up getting a refund... which is fine.
My question is should I get a full refund that includes the shipping charge?

Never had this happen, thanks in advance.

    Thanks Mullins and WCK!

I guess it's just my time as I've bought many things through ebay and this is the first time I have had an item NOT show up.
A little bummed though as I really wanted this card. It was an 87-88 Fleer Michael Jordan BGS 8, bought for a pretty good price.
  • That stinks for both of you if they actually shipped it. But it's absolutely a full refund on all charges.

yeah, he shipped it. But it still says in transit and hasn't been updated since it's departure from the original scan.

I've been communicating with the seller he seems cool, however, he did make an odd comment about "working out a deal that we both can be happy with" which to me means he doesn't want to give a refund. But I guess ultimately, it doesn't matter if he's happy with it or not, only if the buyer is happy. Hopefully this won't turn into a legal battle lol.

Sorry to hear your card never arrived. With regards to the comment the seller made, "working out a deal that we both can be happy with", maybe that is their way of offering you to pick out another item of equal value. I would imagine many sellers would rather part with some inventory versus parting with cash. But, you are certainly entitled to a full refund. Hope it gets resolved quickly and to your satisfaction.
