December Specials Are Posted

Looks like $6 per for 1956-present bulk. Also looks like I'll be sitting out this month. Should have got my sub together in November.

That's a bummer! I spent Friday night prepping my sub only to realize the PO wasn't open on Saturday to postmark my package.

I was really hoping we'd get one more month of Christmas spirit out of PSA.

Looks like I'm holding my sub too, since a third of the cards were a stretch at 5.50.

    Oh well.

You know you could have printed out the label online and taken it to the post office Monday.

Dammit. I do now. Didn't even consider that option. Good to know for next time...Thanks.

Iirc, the post office still postmarks this as Monday.

    Thanks,

I see they raised the fee on 56 and after but lowered the minimum numbere of cards from 50 to 25. Does this make it easier to consider joining the Club and submitting your own or does it encourage more piggybacking of multiple card owners?

Well, if you consider the cost of two additional shipping segments, I wonder if it's really that economical to go that route.

The date would go by the one printed on the label when postage is purchased. There is no postmark, per se, although you are supposed to use the date of the actual mailing.

  • Was I the only one who saw a holiday 5.50 special posted for 56-present? It was up when I looked on Sunday

LOL. Indeed. But I'll keep suckling. Cost me 8% more today than on Saturday, but oh well. Was also informed that it may be sometime before we see 5.50 again.

The November Special was $5.50 per card with a minimum of 50 cards - this was for 1956 and later cards. I sent my first ever sub in (64 cards) but will be a while yet until I get the grades - 50 business day turn around.

I had a succinct feeling that the special would go up from $5.50 for the #1 special 1956-date.
I would like to see anyone try and beat this late mailing I had Sunday night.
My P.O. has a 24hr Kiosk where I can mail a package, buy stamps, or basically do anything I need to do at anytime I want 24/7.
I mailed off my November #1 special last night at 11:55:14 on 11/30/14.
I basically had 4 minutes and 46 seconds to get my package labeled before time expired!
I would like to see someone beat that!!!
If anyone can show me a receipt later then this time, other then the 31st of the month of course, I have something for you!

    Later, Paul.

If you do an online sub I believe you have 30 days to send it to them. I printed one off last night and mailed it today. I assume I will still get the November rate, but I guess I will find out
