Desert Shield Complete PSA 9/10 Graded Set

Hello fellow card collectors and friends,

I would like to bring your attention upon this auction at Mile High Card Co

1991 Desert Shield Complete PSA graded set all PSA 9 or PSA 10

To my knowledge, this is only the 2nd complete graded set of PSA 9 and PSA 10 to hit the market. ALL of the 792 cards have been graded by PSA.

Thank you! It's very difficult to complete that set - many of the cards don't exist in PSA 10, and therefore the PSA 9 cards are relatively expensive.

Try to find a Jeff Blauser PSA 10 (pop 2)

Here's an example of a Desert Shield card which doesn't exist in PSA 10, and there are only 8 examples of this card in PSA 9 !!

How long did it take to put together?

As a "storm" vet, I have a soft spot for this set. Though I never tried to piece one together.

Any reason that some of the more desirable cards in the set are not in a 10, like the Chipper, Griffey and Thoas? I imagine you have a lot of coin in to the set, was surprised to see going through it that some of the better cards are in 9s. Wonder how this will impact the sale price.

As for the sale price, I guess we will find out soon. My original goal was to finish the entire set in PSA 9, because PSA 10s were so expensive (or don't exist).

is it me, the scan or are those top corners on the chipper a lil rounded/soft?

Sorry for the poor scans - I assure you the corners are sharp. Must be the angle of the scan.
