1993 Donruss Elite

Were the Elite cards inserted into regular hobby packs from 1993 or were they their own set? Thanks!

    The "Elite" cards were packed out in the regular Donruss issue that year.

    The "Elite Jumbos" were box toppers in a product sold at Wal-Mart where retail boxes of Donruss were repacked in a clear plastic container with the Jumbo as an incentive to buy.

    The "Elite Dominators" (green chrome bordered cards) were sold as sets through the TV channel QVC.
    Always looking for 1993-1999 Baseball Finest Refractors and1994 Football Finest Refractors.
