2014 Topps Chrome Football -- Seeing Red

So after a nice Thanksgiving meal with family, I decided to finish off a 4 case rip of 2014 Topps Chrome football with my wife. The rip as a whole was rather boring and we did not pull much to get excited about. There was a moment however when my wife stopped with her pack and said, "Would a Johnny Manziel auto be good?". I obviously said of course, but I do not pull autos of the top guys in a product. So with a nice tone of sarcasm, she said, "You may not, but I did and it is red! Is that good?"

I have now had my son, (2014 Bowman Chrome Superfractor auto of Yangervis Solarte) and wife one up me on pulls out of the last two products that we have opened. I couldn't be happier about this because now they look forward to me bringing home boxes of cards to open and they even help sort.





The card is clean, the scanner, not so much. Any ideas on price?

Cool card! I'd suggest subbing to bgs and going for an9.5 or 10. Regardless maybe $5-600 without the bgs grade? Not sure

Group breaks I'm in have gone through over 20 cases so far, with no red or super autos. You hit the jackpot.

Very nice, definitely sell it now. $800 to 1.2K is my guess with the way case breaks are going.

I agree. Cool card indeed. However, I think the lower corners will keep it from a gem mint grade.

I would hold on the Manziel for at least another week. It looks like Johnny will be the starter next week. A couple of good games and this card will explode.
