I wonder how much the elimination of GAI inventory has affected the perception of rarity? So much of their inventory was GAI, which is obviously now not allowed to be sold on their website.

Post-1984 hasn't changed much. If anything, gone down a lot. $100 for a 1987 Fleer wax box?

I just grabbed some 1985 Topps rack packs for $2 cheaper. Appreciation my arse.

That's what got my biggest reaction. I had no idea 87 fleer baseball ever cost that much. 85 donruss was at $95 too. Pardon my memory, but when did the public decide they cared about clemens and bonds taking steroids. Did that play a part?

The 87 fleer spike was due to Bonds, that was what semi got me back into collecting thinking I have to pick up a few bonds 87 fleers before the are $500 per card.. lol
