My unopened pickup of a lifetime!

I found this on Ebay in the last week and after back and forth negotiation with the seller we agreed on a price. I'm super stoked about getting this in the mail today. Yogi Berra is my all time favorite player and the 1960 set is one of my favorite sets.

Thanks for looking. I'm over the moon on this one!!!

Nice pack!! Can you post a scan of the back???

Edited to add: no need to post a back scan, I found the completed listing for it on ebay (and to my dismay, berk ross is not the card showing on the backimage )

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. I haven't picked up anything for my collection in a while that made me giddy but this did it. My wife just shakes her head so it's great having a group of fellow collectors who "get it". Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!

    Jim,

I would love to see a pic of that Drysdale pack. I absolutely love the 60 set and I bet that's a beauty. How are you displaying the pack? I'm looking for ideas and wasn't sure if I wanted to look at having it framed or some other display method. Would love your input.

    Thanks, Nathan

Nathan - Happy to share. I'm deciding if I want to get it graded for display, or build a display around its current state. I'm considering leaving as is, and putting into a frame, but waiting for some creative force to set in.

To stay on track with Yogi, I thought I'd also share a pickup from a few weeks back that I haven't gotten around to sharing.

If you do something more with your pack for display, I'd love to see it.

    Jim,

Thanks for the insight. And awesome Yogi rookie!

I'm thinking of doing some framing with the foam cutout or something. Like you, the creative juices will have to starting flowing. image

Once you put yours in a display I'd like to see it as well.
