a potentially misleading ebay listing

disclaimer reads:
"No returns of items unless grossly misrepresented (reproduction, undetected restoration etc). If an issue is clearly visible in the photos, it is not misrepresented"

I see what I would consider a "restoration" but no mention made in the listing and I wonder if the seller missed it.

    Yes misleading.

I almost like it though. Once I listed a coin as cleaned and scratched and it was returned and I was dinged by the buyer for rim damage even though the rim ding could clearly be seen in the photos.

    You cannot satisfy some people.

plugged hole at the #8 star denticles are mis-shapen, lots of tooling marks around the star, and obvious tooling on the reverse in what would be the opposite area of the star

And here I thought you guys might of been pissed off that the title states Choice Extra Fine for a wire brushed coin??

    Silly me.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

A NO RETURN's policy simply informs the buyer they need to open a case and give the seller a defect.

They can "say" whatever they want. All one has to do is "say" it is not as described, and the refund comes flying back to you. eBay is now the safest place in the world for buyers. Where else can you say I want to buy something and take 3 days to pay for it?

3 days to pay and 6 months to use it then be able to return it saying it wasn't what the buyer wanted. the safest place to buy, not such a great deal to sellers. this scenario reminds me of grand dad reminiscing about the "good ol days" when they could catch 100 fish a day (keep them all) and wonder where all the fish went. will those who applaud ebay for forcing sellers out of the game be the ones wondering where all the sellers went ?
