The 1975 Topps Football Cello Box that has been left at the altar 10 times

There is a 1975 Topps Football Cello Box that has been in the Collect Auctions catalog 10 times since 2011. Each time it has sold for a higher price. I'm pretty sure it is the same box, the pics in the last eight auctions are exactly the same if you look at the box details. The description hasn't changed either -

"This virgin box of cello packs is from 1975 and could contain a bunch of Gem Mint singles. The top cards include Lynn Swann's rookie, Mel Blount RC, Drew Pearson RC, Dan Fouts RC, Joe Theismann RC, Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, OJ Simpson, Franco Harris or Cliff Brach RC. This box has been in the same place with the same owner since it was purchased directly from Topps."

Is it possible that someone bought these boxes directly from Topps and had the same box wear on every single box? Or is there something not legit about it and it keeps getting returned?

Not sure what the story is behind the bidding of the box, but all cello boxes in Collect Auctions are consigned by Fritsch. My guess would be that hammer prices have not reached a reserve, if it is the same box.

ETA: It might also be different boxes being sold but the same description and pics being reused, which obviously should not be the case.

If that is the case, the reserve really moved up over the years. The box sold for a little over $1000 in 2011, which I think was a strong price at the time. The last time it sold this past August, it sold for over $2700. If it came from Fritsch, it could be a new box every time and they are too lazy to change anything in the listing.
