Is it worth the premium membership for photobucket?

The ads suck, big time. Worth it to buy the membership to go ad free or is there a better site to go with?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried collectorfocus.com? Not sure if it meets your needs but works great for me with no ads and totally free.

I've used Tinypic.com for years and have had no trouble.

I do think Photobucket is worth the premium. No limit on bandwidth, easy to use and organize, app for your phone automatically uploads only on WiFi. I haven't tried the other apps but I'm not looking to switch.

  • You can also use: ad-block plus on photobucket to get rid of all those pop up ads that never seem to end.

I have Ad Blocker as well on my Google Chrome browser and don't have any trouble at all with ads on the free Photobucket.

I pay the extra and have never had to delete a picture even from years ago, I like having basically a huge storage easy access place. Worth every penny to me.

I didn't buy it to remove ads, my account got throttled because I had larger scans and they were apparently getting some traffic. All of my posts had an "Oops, too much usage" message.

  • I recommend using imgur.com

Free, great interface, easy to use, never really noticed the ads there.
