Need advice about an eBay purchase

I bought a inexpensive card the other day on eBay and the seller shipped right away. Tracking shows that it was delivered this morning, but when I got home from work. There was no card in my mail box. I did get other mail, so I know that the mail person came to my house. I doubt it was stolen as I have had tons of cards and packages left on the porch and mailbox and never had a problem. Who should I contact about this? The post office? Should I send a message to my seller to let them know what is going on? Not sure how to handle this one. Any help would be appreciated.

  • just hope that a neighbor puts it in your mail box or that it just shows up. Had it happen to me awhile back and in my case it just showed up in my mailbox a month later so anything can happen. It's not the sellers fault

yeah, I know the seller did nothing wrong. I didn't know if I should just give them a heads up about it. Obviously I am not leaving any feedback if I don't get the item. Yes I know they shipped it, but would rather not leave any feedback in a situation like this.

Call the post office and they will contact your carrier. The sooner the better. One time it happened to me and delivered to the apartment below me.....worth a shot
