There was a group that delighted in questioning everything he said and likely rode him out of town. He may also have had some health issues, but he certainly was derided and attacked a lot.
I remember what I think was his last post about some quarters he sent into pcgs for grading . They were quarters he put into some envelopes and then into a book and they took on color. But, pcgs didn't like the color and dubbed them genuine . He was quite upset about this and was wondering since when envelope toned quarter were "Questionable Color". I remember this because of the fact he was REALLY pissed off.
The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
I had one dealing with him. And... that was enough for me. found him to be a Pathological liar.JMO ..His wife died, not so, than a child was ran over in front of his home, than his wife told me he may be dying..
Boom went the ban hammer. Sold some stuff to him a time or 2. My last contact with him was Dec. 1, 2009. IIRC he was/is a paramedic. Probly had a stressful life.
Wasn't he was involved with the toning process? >>
He toned coins that were already in PCGS slabs. Slabs are not airtight and he figured out a way to get a gas with sulfur into the slabs. He claimed to be innocent until one of the forum detectives found auction pics of some of his coins that were blast white and that he was later showing off as being toned.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Seems like I do remember the attacks but not the details.

Rattlers are easily prone to not being airtight.
