But just in case some of you don't get over there

Last night I had a dream about my father, he past away in 1990. Anyways, it wasn't a coin dream just great times
our family used to have together when we were kids. So I get ready for work this morning and open CRO's Early Bird and guess what I see?

Oh, I guess I should have mentioned my father side is Hungarian


Yep a wonderfully toned Hungarian Leopold!










So, I shoot John a quick note to hold it for me and go to work. Well my customer was so happy with her new kitchen Remodeling project
she gave me a beautiful old handmade Russian set!! My mother past away this good Friday and her side of the family is Russian.....

Wow what a day!








I do miss both terribly but all I can say is WOW, they were thinking of me too.

It seems like every time John sends an early bird email, there's one particular coin that jumps off the page, a coin that I'm tempted by despite it being completely outside of my collecting focus. For todays early bird email, this was the coin.

Thanks, it's realy tough as nails to find Hungarian coins with nice toning.
I have some nice toned Russian coins but I haven't collected many Hungarian as I haven't been able to
find them nicely toned.
