Did I screw up my PCGS submission?

I did an on-line submission and sent the coins last week. I know from tracking that they are there at PCGS but when I search for the submission number, it says not found.

Is that just because they haven't processed it yet or did I screw something up when I submitted, like not properly finishing it after printing?

they have not processed it yet.....if there was a problem they would list it as a "receive hold."

That makes me feel better. I have been sick for a few weeks and screwing up right and left - I only put half the insurance on that I should have so was happy to see that they at least arrived safely!
  • So now when I search for it, I get

    Total Items: 0
    Date Received: N/A
    Date Shipped: N/A
    Order Status: OK

That I have never seen before, but again I'm probably worrying for nothing. That just probably means it has been scanned and is being sorted out, right?

Total items should not be zero and there should be a date in the date received.

Is this your 1st ever submission?
Relax. Getting to them, which you said happened, is the biggest part of the worry.
After that, depending on volume and staffing, it can take 1-3 days to be entered into the system (work days), I have found.

Then, things don't start perking up for a few more weeks, when you start checking online to see if grades posted....about 100x per day (or per hour for some folks).

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Apparently volume was up and staffing was down during and after the Baltimore show. My current order took 7 calendar days from acceptance to be logged in to their system. image

Don't know about your submission, but I usually don't realize my screw up until results are posted. image …if you know what I mean image

    When Last Week?

    Monday?
    Tuesday?
    Wednesday?
    Thursday?
    Friday?

What method of Mailing and when was it "signed" for.

"Last Week" is just to generalized. You need to be specific so that folks can tell you...............be patient.

Sometimes it takes a few days between the time they get it, and the time it shows up. The Minions are very busy. image

    >>>By the way, if you subbed it Econ, don't bother checking for results until like 30 days after receipt. <<<

It still will show in the check status page a few days after it gets there. And it will have a date and number of coins then.
  • No, not my first submission, but only my fourth, so I don't have a good memory of the process.

Specifically, the tracking shows it hit PCGS on Saturday.

Oh, fuzz: I'm just going to ignore it for a week. It's only a set of Silver Kennedy's. I'll be annoyed if they disappeared but it's not going to send me into depression.

With a Saturday Day delivery date I would not expect it to show up in the System until today (Tuesday) or possibly tomorrow (Wednesday).

I'm thinking that your relative submission inexperience is showing.
