1840 Large Cent N-9?

Recently acquired this 1840 large cent that appears to be N-9 but there is no die crack on the reverse. Seems VG-F maybe with an old cleaning.

Looks like a very late die state N-9.....I think your grading is optimistic (and there are other problems: cleaning, enviro damage, etc)

Sounds to me like you are double net grading! How can you say that coin has less than VG-F details????
