Independence Hall uni-face bicentennial medal

Another medal from my uncle's box. Uni-face is my guess … I'm not planning to peel that fabric off the back.

Hole in fabric suggests it's for mounting. Not sure if that is original or after-market. Thoughts?

Cool. The fabric looks aftermarket to me. Can't say for sure without seeing it in hand but I think I'd take the fabric off and soak the piece in some acetone to remove any residue were it mine.

I think it is sealed in the original packaging. There doesn't seem to be any design under the fabric. I've never seen a medal with this backing, but I'm not sure it's aftermarket.
