Picked up my first Canadian black box today. Yes, I just had to cut the bands.

    Those are purdy.

    If you and derryb keep it up Florida is gonna break off of the continental US and float out into the ocean........Hey, that might not be a bad thing. image

    On second thought, it might break off and sink to bottom of the ocean and be the next Atlantis. I know where I'm going scuba diving if only I can beat Mel Fisher's crew to it!!!

    How do you go about ordering this box? Can you buy directly from the Canadian mint or did you have to go through another company?
    Buy purchasing the box, how close to spot per bar is it?

    $1.29 over spot, currently sold out. I provided links to this item in a number of earlier PM threads when they first came out and while they were still available.

    Are they really this stupid, or are they destroying the dollar on purpose?

    I just started looking into those RCM Silver Bars after all the major bullion dealers jacked up their premium on the Geiger Silver Bars.
    I may have to do some of those when silver dips again.

    Your local dealer should be able to order up a box.

    Can you buy directly from the Canadian mint or did you have to go through another company?

    You can not order direct from the RCM. Boxes start at the RCM, to a distributor, to a dealer, to you.

    Normally ...... Mints and Distributors will NOT sell bullion to the public. To many problems with piddly orders & whiny types.

    By purchasing the box, how close to spot per bar is it?

    Ohhh ... here comes the fire storm. My guy charges me spot + 1.50.

    Yes ..... there are many places on line to order them for less ....

    BUTTTT ......... 3 things.

    1 ....... My dealer HAS them. He did say that when he is out, he will only be charging spot + 50 cents! image

    2 ....... I like the " on the counter " no question about it factor.

    3 ....... We all complain that there are not enough good shops around. Isn't 25 cents worth supporting the local guy? It is to me.
