The odd thing is there are a handful of 10s in Probstein's auctions that are all in sequential order with this one. Cross over? Min grade? Seems strange.

No bueno. I'd look for a better specimen if I had to look at it and admire it in my collection.

+1, corner wear, edge nicks, PD, snow. Very weak 10, should be an 8.5 at best.

I have 20/20 vision. That card looks like an 11. Time to get your eyes checked.

well the "1" is mighty close to the "0" on the keyboard to make a 10....wait, no it isn't.

blech -- when I saw your post, I was assuming you meant one corner. Seems like some subtle wear on at least three, if not all four of them

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Yup, all 4 corners have wear. Gotta wonder how this could happen.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    would this apply?

If PSA, in fact, concludes that the card in question no longer merits the PSA grade assigned or fails our authenticity standards, PSA will either:

    1. Buy the card from the submitter at the current market value if the card can no longer receive a numerical grade under PSA's standards or,

    2. Refund the difference in value between the original PSA grade and the current PSA grade if the grade is lowered. In this case, the card will also be returned to the customer along with the refund for the difference in value.

Yes, PSA will reslab it the proper grade and pay you the difference between what you paid and what the SMR value is of the proper grade.

    Not a great 10 that's for sure.

    Mistakes happen.

the bottom right corner looks like it should have held it back for sure. I would guess that the other 3 look pretty good when the card is not blown up to the size of a notebook. I see this alot on cards in heritage's auctions , they blow the card up so big that there is no possible way the card can't look as though there is wear on the corner

Looking at these cards brings back angry memories of trying to get half point bumps with some of my expensive 7 and 8 cards I used to have image
