Although all of the coins are BU, my best guess is that they are an accumulation over time. Some of the coins have edge toning, some are blast white. I don't see any coins that are not "commercially viable." There are five coins in the lot that could be dipped to remove a hint of toning, but that are not objectionable or have ugly toning. They are housed in a U.S. Mint Silver Eagle tube. If anyone has any specific questions I have not answered here, feel free to PM me.

<< <i>A picture of them spread out might help. >>
Yuck. I HATE IT when people do THAT! If you've examined the coins, just be upfront about the scrapers, dingers and anything else that isn't new BU.
Of course you would, because that opens the door for you to complain when you receive the coins, you can say they weren't described correctly, BUT if there was a picture with the listing and you didn't like them when received, then YOU'D have to take some accountability, and God forbid anyone here do thaaaaat.

Frankly, I don't like that practice as a matter of course. Well if you didn't agree to anything then you have no right to complain. If you know them to be brand new then say so. If you know them to be culls then say that too. I've yet to see any pic of spread out coins that is good enough to tell if any of the coins is not as new BU. Otherwise! PASS! If they aren't documented as brand new BU, then PASS!
But hey, what the heck do u need a description for bullion? Crazy...
<< <i>Pictures mean zilch, but so do most descriptions, since they are biased, lol...

Because a lot of people don't want damaged coins. Simple as that.

So just because it's bullion there is some expectation that it is/should be damaged?
It's what I do as a courtesy as seller and what I expect as a buyer.
Sorry to mention this danglen, I only did because I thought it would be something to help that you might not've considered. Didn't expect the contrarian views that took over your thread. At least your thread got alot of exposure from it staying on page 1

Nobody is disdaining anything. I just don't care for the practice of dumping out a roll and sliding them around, esp. for coins that bring more than average prices for the series. To me it indicates carelessness. If it doesn't bother you, that's ok.
IMO the proper way to look at them is to pop off the cap, turn the roll over on a paper towel or similar soft surface and tap the coins out. Wearing cotton or plastic gloves, one can pick up each coin, examine it and start a new stack upside down. When the roll evaluation is finished, simply slide the tube slowly over the new stack and presto, you're done.
When buying from an online business JMBullion, etc. I rarely open tubes I get and generally offer them as unopened by me.
