Some of you know I'm a Mays fan. I'm also a Dodger fan. See, I didn't realize there was a blood feud between them until about 1981. By then I was already a fan of the guys that built Candlestick...Mays, McCovey, Cepeda, and Marichal in particular.
I recently came across a card I hadn't seen before. 1964 NL HR Leaders. 4 pics. Aaron, McCovey, Mays and Cepeda. I'm a sucker for cards like this, so on with the search. I found a few I liked...but then I stumbled onto a Venezuela. Great centering. Low pop. A unique addition. Seller's name looked familiar. Jackpot. Board Member. Off eBay deal put this cool, beauty in my hands. I'm pretty stoked. I think it looks strong for the grade and it has its back. This was important to me. So many have large paper loss on back and the reason I liked the back of this particular card is the the Giants were a Beast this year. Look down the leaders and see that Bailey and Alou had 21 and 20, respectively. So 5 Giants bombed 158 bombs, that year. Tough lineup to face when they're averaging a homer/game.
Anyway, pretty happy to add this and a big THANKS to Oakesy25 for the hookup.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
