A distinctive head type, one that probably merits inclusion in the Red Book, and one of my favorite early silver issues. Legitimately scarce, 3 Overton numbers make up the Small Head type and all are R5+ or higher. Not frequently available in problem-free collector grades at a reasonable price point.
A pleasing example for the grade, lightly wiped long ago, but retoning and now a light tan-gray color with some peripheral album tone and just faint hairlines and a few circulation marks/scratches. Strong, well-balanced detail for a G6 and overall a decent looking early half.
