Premium on 1991 Half Sovereign Proof?

Hey guys,

I just picked up a 1991 UK Half Sovereign, and from my understanding this was a proof only year with only 5,000 to be issued
-I see them on euro sites for $314 euros
-Mine is a fresh coin and comes with OGP and COA

-I'm curious as to the typical premium for this coin

thanks

    Well, according to the handy-dandy-Krause - KM#942 - 3.990g, .9170% gold, .1176 AGW. 1991, Estimate 9000 mintage, with a slight premium over melt.

Gold today is $1179 x.1176 = 138.65 melt. The last one to sell on eBay was a month ago (Oct 4th) for $158.61. when gold was about $1195 an ounce, so about 10% premium.

I'd guess yours today would retail about $152-$153?

EDIT: There was one that ended today with a BIN of $180 that went unsold.

Proly 5k of the single offered, and then offered in sets with the whole run, sets with the 1 and 2 pound, etc.
These are not avidly collected as far as I know...
